The Theology Pugcast is three over-educated Reformed guys grumbling about what bugs them, and sometimes even barking about what they like. The topics can vary widely seeing as the Pugsters have different spheres of knowledge and interest, but common themes which appear regularly include the transcendence of God and the meaningfulness of His creation.

C. R. Wiley’s childhood was like something out of a story by Roald Dahl.
It was full of vacancies. He was a ward of the state for a time. (Imagine living at the DMV and you have a sense of what that was like.) And he hated the 8th grade so much that he took it twice.
He has been a pastor (still is!), a college professor, a commercial real estate investor, a landlord (still that, too!), and a building contractor.
He has been happily married for over 40 years and he has three grown children and eight grandchildren (and counting). He resides in both the states of Washington and Connecticut.
He has written for Touchstone Magazine, Modern Reformation, Sacred Architecture, The Imaginative Conservative, Front Porch Republic, National Review, and First Things, among others. He also contributes to World Magazine’s on-line editorial page. His most recent book is, Manmade: St. Antony’s Guide to Surviving the AI Apocalypse. He is also the author of In the House of Tom Bombadil (2021) and, The Household and the War for the Cosmos (2019). His short fiction has been published by the Mythopoeic Society and elsewhere, and the first book in his young adult fantasy series, The Purloined Boy was published in 2017. He is a co-host of The Theology Pugcast (which has roughly 10,000 listeners in 60 countries each week), and Chris and Chris Talk Business. He is a member of the Academy of Philosophy and Letters, a board member of New Saint Andrews College, and a Senior Editor of Touchstone Magazine.
Glenn Sunshine
Glenn Sunshine (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin, Madison), the founder and president of Every Square Inch Ministries, is Professor Emeritus of History at Central Connecticut State University and Senior Fellow at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. Previously, he taught at Calvin College and was a visiting professor at the Universität der Bundeswehr-Hamburg (now Helmut Schmidt University) in Germany.
Glenn has taught a variety of Bible, history, and worldview seminars and courses to churches around the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia, as well as leading church retreats, seminars, and renewal weekends. He continues to do freelance teaching and speaking for conferences and podcasts and teaches in the Colson Fellows Program.
An award-winning author, Glenn has published ten books and numerous articles and book chapters on history, theology, and culture, online and on both sides of the Atlantic. His book Why You Think the Way You Do: The Story of Western Worldviews from Rome to Home (Zondervan, 2009) received the 2006 Acton Institute Book Grant. His latest book is 32 Christians Who Changed Their World. He writes regularly on Substack and is currently working on several books. He also writes commentaries for Breakpoint.
Glenn and his wife Lynn have been married for over 45 years and have two married adult children and four grandchildren. They live in South Bend, Indiana.
Tom Price
Dr. Thomas Price (D.Phil., University of Oxford) has taught at Gordon Conwell since 2015 as an adjunct instructor in Theology, Christian Ethics, and Apologetics. He also teaches Theology, Religion, Ethics, and Philosophy at other institutions.
His theological work seeks to recover the distinctive vision of the Christian Gospel, with particular emphasis on divine transcendence, the Trinity, and the biblical metaphysic. Drawing on the Christian spiritual and intellectual tradition, he explores how theological first principles order Christian thought and life toward their God centered end. His work is thoroughly Trinitarian, beginning with the perfect, immanent life of God.
Dr. Price’s work in theological anthropology and Christian ethics examines the nature, purpose, and flourishing of human life within a theological understanding of creation. From this foundation, he addresses questions of life, justice, peacemaking, and human action from the resources of the Gospel.
Dr. Price earned his B.G.S. in Music and Philosophy of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, his M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Th.M. in Theology and Church History from Duke Divinity. He earned his D.Phil. in Theology and Ethics from the University of Oxford under the supervision of the late John Webster.
Ordained in 1998, Dr. Price currently serves as an ordained minister in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). He lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife and sons.
